A Night Out At Snoqualmie Casino With Queensryche

So, this past Friday night, I took a little drive to Snoqualmie Casino for a much deserved night out…the fact that Queensryche was playing, definitely a bonus!  Okay, let me just put it out there, I am a lousy gambler!  I think the most I have every won was about $300, but I am certain that over time I have lost way more than that.

This was my first trip to Snoqualmie Casino.  I had, of course, heard about it and checked it out on line, but for whatever reason, hadn’t made the short drive.  It’s only about 30 minutes from Seattle and from Bellevue, it was even closer!  It was pretty cool driving up, gorgeous entrance and plenty of parking, not that I was worried about finding a spot because they have complimentary valet!  Score!  Once my friends and I got inside, I was amazed at how big the place was and how crowded it was…tons of people, which I love!  Truth, I love to people watch and it was fun picking out the folks that were going to be heading into the ballroom for Queensryche.

First things first, we were starving and I was told that their restaurant 12 Moons had great sushi and I am all about sushi!  The restaurant was gorgeous and we sat right up at the sushi bar and ordered.  Now, I have been to my fair share of sushi restaurants and I have to say, first the food was incredible, but the portions…whoa!  They were huge!  I almost never have leftovers when I eat sushi, but between the three of us, we couldn’t finish and the prices were really reasonable!

With our bellies full, we made our way to the Ballroom to see the show.  Since we were stuffed, we were moving a bit slowly, so the band was already on stage.  The Ballroom was packed and the band rocked!  It was so much fun!

Bottom line, I had a great time…great food…great music…a great night!  I will definitely go again…band or no band…Snoqualmie Casino, you have a new fan!
