Rock 98.9 is delighted to announce details for one of our most important fundraising events of the year: The

Red Kettle Luncheon, where 500+ community business leaders will come together to raise more than

$350,000 to help our neighbors who are struggling with homelessness, food insecurity, addiction, and more, in King County.

This is The Salvation Army’s most impactful fundraiser and ensures our ability to continue to provide:

  • Basic needs of food, clothing and shelter • Bill Pay Assistance
  • Short and long-term housing assistance • Domestic Violence program
  • Youth Services • Senior Services
  • Veteran’s Services • Drug and Alcohol Addiction Rehabilitation
  • Disaster Relief • Seasonal Assistance

Did you know?

In 2016, The Salvation Army in King County provided:

  • Care to 120,997 men, women and children
  • 136,950 nights of lodging in shelters
  • 282,053 meals and bags of groceries
  • Prevented 101 households from having their utilities shut off
  • Graduated 76 men and women from our adult rehabilitation program
  • Provided 9,024 kids with summer camp experiences
  • Provided 2,446 families with 11,729 toys during Christmas
