Kim Monroe’s Music Minute April 4th

Good news, looks like AC/DC front man Brian Johnson is getting back to work, although not with the band, yet.  Later this month “Brian Johnson’s Life On The Road” premiers, which is a six part series featuring Johnson interviewing some of rock’s biggest names about life on the road.  Some of the featured guests include Metallica’s Lars Ulrich, the Who’s Roger Daltry and Def Leppard’s Joe Elliot.

Over the past few year, Van Halen News Desk has been finding some hidden nuggets from the band’s storied career.  In 1984, Eddie Van Halen did some music for the film “The Wild Life” and for the first time ever, an instrumental called “Strike” has been unearthed in it’s entirety.

Fans for Journey that were hoping for a reunion of the band and former lead singer Steve Perry, there’s good news and bad news.  The good news is that, according to keyboardist Jonathan Cain, Perry will be attending the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, but he will only be there to accept the award.  Unfortunately, Perry will not be joining the band to perform during the April 7th event.
