Kim Monroe’s Music Minute August 4th

It is a well known fact that Pearl Jam’s Eddie Vedder is a huge Chicago Cubs fan, and once again, he gets to put his fandom on display.  Pearl Jam have issued a teaser video which appears to announce a new concert film from the band, filmed during their performance at Wrigley Stadium.  There is currently a dedicated website for “Let’s Play Two” and the band tweeted out simply, “coming soon.”

In anticipation of the new Foo Fighter’s album “Concrete and Gold” fans have been trying to figure out who the major pop star is that Dave Grohl has said guested on the album.  One thing for sure, he is not talking about Paul McCartney!  However, Sir Paul is one of the guests, playing drums on one of the tracks.

Sammy Hagar continues to discuss his hopes of a Van Halen reunion, that would also include David Lee Roth.  He said that it would be amazing to give fans one of the greatest set lists of all time, but admitted that there have no conversations to date.

About Kim Monroe

Born in Northeast Ohio, traveled to Charlotte, NC, Seattle, Cleveland and finally back to Seattle. This is, by far, my favorite city in the US, not to mention the best people! I am a happy mother of two great kids and lots of animals! In my rare downtime, I enjoy reading and watching true crime shows, plus American Horror Story every season!
