Kim Monroe’s Music Minute July 14th

Last night, social media was buzzing about Detroit’s one and only Kid Rock.  Rock’s new website appears as US Senate campaign website and the singer said that YES the website is real.  However, Kid Rock did not specifically confirm that he is actually running for office…and the he is supposed to be dropping a new album in the fall.  Possibly publicity stunt?  An official announcement is coming soon.

Trent Reznor just announced the second Nine Inch Nails EP with a brand new song.  “Add Violence” is the second in a promised trilogy of EP’s from the band and will be available on July 21st.  In the meantime, you can hear new song “Less Than” on the band’s website.

According to the former head of Queen’s road crew, the Queen/David Bowie duet of “Under Pressure” is not the only song that they collaborated on.  Guitarist Brian May has confirmed that other material exists and may be released at some point.
