Kim Monroe’s Music Minute July 29th & 30th

As the rock world and fans continue to mourn the loss of Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington, a video of the band’s final performance has surfaced.  Linkin Park played in Bermingham on July 6th, one of the European stops on their “One More Light” tour and a video editor managed to put together a video of the full performance from various fan footage of the show.

The first part of Def Leppard‘s mini-documentary, “Step Inside: Hysteria At 30” is now streaming on line.  The film opens with a look at all that occurred following Rick Allen’s car accident that cost the drummer is left arm.  The release of the complete documentary will arrive August 4th in sync with the 30th anniversary reissues of the band’s 1987 album, “Hysteria.”

Earlier last week, Stone Temple Pilots announced a deluxe reissue of their debut album “Core.”  In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the iconic album, the band released a demo version of “Sex Type Thing” which became the band’s first single.  The reissued version of Core will be out September 29th.
