Kim Monroe’s Music Minute July 3rd

If you were thinking that maybe the Chad Kroeger, Corey Taylor battle was dying down, think again.  The whole thing started with Kroeger calling Stone Sour “Nickelback light and challenging Taylor to write a “hit” song.  Taylor fired back referring to Chad as “face like a foot.”  Recently Corey went a bit further saying that Chad Kroeger is to rock what KFC is to chicken.

KISS’ Gene Simmons is back in the news again, but this time it’s good news.  Former guitarist Ace Frehley is working on a new solo album and invited his former bandmate to participate.  Gene was happy to oblige and worked on 2 new songs with Frehley.

As suspected, there is a Black Sabbath movie coming to theaters.  “The End of The End” is a film documenting the band’s final performance in their hometown of Birmingham in the UK.  The movie will be shown in theaters worldwide on September 28th.
