Kim Monroe’s Music Minute July 7th

Green Day were scheduled to perform in Glasgow recently, but the show had to be cancelled due to unsafe conditions following a very heavy rainstorm.  The band was very disappointed about the cancellation as were a group of fans who gathered at the bands’ hotel to serenade them!  Billie Joe took to Instagram to let fans know they were bummed and to thank the fans for singing to them.

A never before seen, in full, video of early Nirvana performing at a Radio Shack in Aberdeen has surfaced.  Back in 1988, the then unknown band filmed a 17 minute video in the store afterhours.  Segments of the performance, which is not actually live, have been seen before, but this is the first time the full video has been made available.

Those KISS reunion rumors are getting a little quieter now.  A few weeks ago, original guitarist Ace Frehley told fans that he worked with his former band mate Gene Simmons on a few songs for his next solo record, which got folks excited.  However, Frehley said that there have absolutely been NO talks of a reunion to date.
