Kim Monroe’s Music Minute May 10th

After more than a year of searching, it appears that Stone Temple Pilots have finally found a new lead singer!  According to former Filter bassist, Geno Leonardo who attended a recent rehearsal session, the person stepping in to the shoes of Scott Weiland is “one of the finest musicians and singers that he has ever known.”  Leonardo went on to say that STP will reveal all in their own time.

Tool fans who have been hanging on by their fingernails waiting for a new album, and disappointed that a new album by A Perfect Circle would be out first, you can relax.  Fans have been reaching out via social media for some clue about when, but according to A Perfect Circle’s twitter page, it would appear that an album by either band won’t likely be released until 2018.

If you enjoyed Red Hot Chili Peppers last video for “Go Robot,” you will definitely love the new one for “Goodbye Angels.”  The Chili Peppers are still touring in support of their latest album “The Getaway” and will be headlining a few festivals this summer.

About Kim Monroe

Born in Northeast Ohio, traveled to Charlotte, NC, Seattle, Cleveland and finally back to Seattle. This is, by far, my favorite city in the US, not to mention the best people! I am a happy mother of two great kids and lots of animals! In my rare downtime, I enjoy reading and watching true crime shows, plus American Horror Story every season!
