As Metallica get set to embark on the North American leg of their “Worldwired” tour, they have announced a special treat for their fans!  On Tuesday May 9th fans can watch a Metallica rehearsal from M & T Bank Stadium in Baltimore that they are calling “Now That We’re Live” and it will be viewable on the band’s Facebook page and at Metallica.com.  The event starts at 9pm Eastern and 6pm here on the west coast.

Another landmark album is about to hit the 20 year mark.  On June 23rd, Radiohead will release “OKNOTOK” to celebrate “OK Computer.”  The band will include 3 previously unreleased songs, a completely remastered version of the album and all 8 B-sides.  “OK Computer” was added to the National Recording Industry at the Library of Congress in 2015.

Linkin Park will be releasing “One More Light” on May 19th and now the band’s Chester Bennington and Mike Shinoda have announced their tour plans.  Linkin Park begin their tour on July 27th in Boston and will wind their way to LA on October 22nd, with a stop planned in Seattle at the Key Arena October 14th.  Tickets on sale on May 12th.

About Kim Monroe

Born in Northeast Ohio, traveled to Charlotte, NC, Seattle, Cleveland and finally back to Seattle. This is, by far, my favorite city in the US, not to mention the best people! I am a happy mother of two great kids and lots of animals! In my rare downtime, I enjoy reading and watching true crime shows, plus American Horror Story every season!
