Kim Monroe’s Music Minute May 8th

A new video from Linkin Park surfaced over the weekend.  The video for “Good Goodbye” features singer Chester Bennington taking it to the hoop to save his life and features NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.  Earlier last week, Linkin Park announced their upcoming “One More Light” World tour which includes a stop at Seattle’s Key Arena October 14th and tickets go on sale this Friday.

Queen drummer Roger Taylor dropped a little surprise on fans.  “Journey’s End” is a new song and short film created by the drummer.  Taylor says that the mood of the piece reflects his feelings of mortality, especially after the passing of David Bowie and George Michael.

“Late Show” fans, get ready for a big week.  Following last week’s controversy over Stephen Colbert’s monologue rant, the host is having a “Daily Show” reunion.  The reunion will feature guest appearances by Jon Stewart, Samantha Bee, John Oliver, Ed Helms and Rob Corddry.  These shows should make for some epic twitter rants from the Twitter In Chief.

About Kim Monroe

Born in Northeast Ohio, traveled to Charlotte, NC, Seattle, Cleveland and finally back to Seattle. This is, by far, my favorite city in the US, not to mention the best people! I am a happy mother of two great kids and lots of animals! In my rare downtime, I enjoy reading and watching true crime shows, plus American Horror Story every season!
