Kim Monroe’s Music Minute October 5th

Aerosmith were forced to cancel the last few dates of the tour due to an undisclosed illness that required the band’s front man, Steven Tyler, to return to the US immediately.  Over the past few days, it was rumored that Tyler had a seizure, so the singer set the record straight himself.  He let fans know that he was very sad to have to cut the tour short, but he DID NOT have a heart attack or seizure and appreciated the creative speculations about his health.

Marilyn Manson will be releasing his new album, “Heaven Upside Down,” tomorrow and the singer is already on the road in support, or, at least, he was.  Manson had to cancel 9 shows of his current tour after a very large and heavy stage prop fell on him.  Currently, he is resting at home and plans to resume the tour October 15h in Grand Prairie Texas.

As the tributes and tears continue to flow following the loss of Tom Petty, a few songs from his final performance have surfaced.  Petty and the Heartbreakers were touring in celebration of their 40th anniversary with a three night stay at the Hollywood Bowl in LA.  He finished the show with “You Wreck Me” and “American Girl,” both are streaming now.

About Kim Monroe

Born in Northeast Ohio, traveled to Charlotte, NC, Seattle, Cleveland and finally back to Seattle. This is, by far, my favorite city in the US, not to mention the best people! I am a happy mother of two great kids and lots of animals! In my rare downtime, I enjoy reading and watching true crime shows, plus American Horror Story every season!
