Kim Monroe’s Music Minute September 29th

More details are now available about the second season of “Ozzy & Jack’s World Detour.”  First off, it has moved from the History Channel to A&E, and now the premier date is Wednesday November 8th at 10pm.  Like last season, the father and son duo visit multiple historical sites around the country that often times lands Ozzy in hilarious situations and this season will also feature the debut of Ozzy’s grand-daughter.

Aside from getting ready for his first photo exhibit, former Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx has just launched a new original video series called, “My Favorite Riff with Nikki Sixx.”  In this new series, Nikki sits down with some of the world’s greatest players and future stars to talk music, gear and naturally “riffs.”  In the most recent episode, he sits down with Def Leppard’s Phil Collen.

The original “Playboy” Hugh Heffner passed away at the age of 91 on Wednesday and literally generations of rockers took to social media to share their thoughts of this cultural pioneer.  Everyone from The Stones, Keith Richards, to Rob Zombie, Slash and of course, Gene Simmons.

About Kim Monroe

Born in Northeast Ohio, traveled to Charlotte, NC, Seattle, Cleveland and finally back to Seattle. This is, by far, my favorite city in the US, not to mention the best people! I am a happy mother of two great kids and lots of animals! In my rare downtime, I enjoy reading and watching true crime shows, plus American Horror Story every season!
